Dear Friends,
St. Anthony of Padua Parish community offers prayers and condolences for you as you mourn the loss of your loved one.
We would like to help you to make the Mass of Christian Burial a personal tribute to your deceased member as well as a supportive memory for you.
We have prepared this page of our website as a guide in planning the Mass for Christian Burial. We will be happy to assist you in making your selections. You may write your choices on the form provided. Also, some among you may wish to participate actively in the liturgy. Included on the form are spaces for the names of those who would like to read or speak. A member or members of the family may wish to spread the pall over the casket and bring the offertory gifts to the altar.
Though we strongly encourage the family to plan the funeral liturgy, you may choose to let the Friars and staff plan the liturgy. We will be glad to do that for you. If you have any questions, please, call the parish office. May Christ's peace be with you during this difficult time.
Planning the Funeral

First reading from the Old Testament, select one.
Second reading from the New Testament, select one.
Or
if you prefer you may choose
two (2) readings from the New Testament.
And
Choose one (1) Gospel and one (1) Prayer of the Faithful
A selection of music will be available soon.
Eulogies for the Funeral Mass are limited to one (1) and no longer than three (3) minutes.
Eulogies may also be done during visitation at the fuenral home
and/or at the cemetery.
When the form is completed please call or fax the form to the parish office.
